In the movie Yes Man, Zooey Deschanel holds a jogging and photography course – I have my own solo version I call ‘Jogography’, where I sometimes grab a snap of the early-morning sky.

I also stop to pat a few cats.

Now that December has dawned, bringing with it the onset of Christmas Panic Syndrome, maybe it’s a good time to get one thing sorted. Our little cat Trixie has beautiful markings – and I was struck by how her colours are replicated in our feature stone fireplace. But I only had a split second to try and shoot it – she disdainfully stalked off.

Bunker Bay

Last week we ran away to Bunker Bay for a night. We were treated to a spectacular sunrise over the cape on Friday morning. And treated ourselves to a couple of nice bots of Sauv Blanc too!
