New Year / New Beginning

And alas the Christmas holidays must end. But it was a wonderful time! After our Reader’s Digest Xmas trip to Denmark, I made 2 dresses, kept up the early morning jogging/cycling excursions, watched movies (highlight: “The Skin I Live In” & Pimp My Ride reruns), beach breakfasts, reading Noir Crime short stories, joining-leaving-rejoining Facebook, swimming, shopping, plenty of catnaps, and catching up with friends.

Back to the world of reality and responsibility. Hello 2012!

We’re still excited about our unexpected win at the AGDA Quiz Night on Friday, as part of the formidable Lost&Found team (rebranded Sloshed&Found for Quiz Night purposes). Thanks Dan & Bec for inviting us! That’s Ash & David hogging the winning stash. (Funnily enough ‘carburetor’ was the answer to one question, which of course Paul knew!)

Yesterday was our annual Tbird Christmas Breakfast at Floreat Beach… pics here. We had a great turnout – lovely to see old friends and new faces too. Note our matching ‘Hawaiian Honeymoon’ outfits… well you can hardly miss them! Who would have thought Dorothy Lamour’s curtains would look so good? Actually this beautiful fabric is from Tessuti’s online store.

Last weekend seemed to have a red theme.
L: Paul & his Crankster buddies recently painted this red rocket onto the wall at the workyard
M: Crusing the bike path at City Beach on a ride to Scarbs
